Manchester United has not had an easy summer. However, last week their luck changed as they defeated Chelsea 4-0 showing that they are a powerhouse ready to take on anyone. Today, United is looking for a different result than the last time they faced Wolves. During their last match-up, Wolves defeated United 2-1 during league and during the FA Cup. In last week’s game against Chelsea, Harry Maguire showed is strength with an impressive centre-back partnership with Victor Lindelöf.
Last season Wolves showed their dominance as they took 4 points off United and were undefeated in matches against the Red Devils during all meet-ups. Manchester United is coming off their worst run since 2014 as they have not won their last four Premier League matches. The big question will be whether Solskjaer will start Juan Mata who had a big game in the match against Chelsea or continue with Andreas Pereira. Both will likely be key players in today’s match-up. Wolves are quick at attacking so Manchester United must be improved defensively in order to remain a contenter in today’s competition.
