NBA Games for Season 2022-2023
The NBA season started in late October and runs through mid-April of 2023. We love our New York teams, but no matter who your team is, you will be welcome here and you will never have to miss a game. We always have NBA games on!
In case you missed it, here’s what happening this season.
NY Knicks
The Knicks haven’t had the best start to the season, but they did manage to put together a nice string of wins during home NBA games.
We can tell by looking that while there are some pieces in place, there is a lot left unfinished with this team. That news isn’t all bad though. It means the Knicks have a lot they can improve on and get better. It is still early in the season after all.
Judging by the number of trade rumors going around, the front office isn’t content to let another season go by without making needed changes to make the team better. The players themselves are anything but complacent. There are outstanding veteran players like RJ Barrett and Jalen Brunson and lots of fresh talented young players including Trevor Keels, who give us a lot of reasons to be hopeful during the rest of the 2022 and 2023 NBA games.
Brooklyn Nets
After a blockbuster trade deal earlier this year, The Nets have become a complicated team with a lot of moving parts and pieces. They have just fired head coach Steve Nash who will be replaced by Jacques Vaughn as interim head coach until a replacement is named. It was reported earlier in the year that Kevin Durant wanted both Nash and GM Sean Marks gone, so this could be the end result of that situation.
The core of the team remains largely unchanged. All of the trade talk about Kevin Durant is gone, and the vaccine struggle with Kyrie Irving is over. Patty Mills, Joe Harris, and Nic Claxton are still major players on the court during most NBA games.
Seth Curry has been an invaluable addition to the team and will remain so if he can stay healthy going forward.
Finally, we see Ben Simmons suit up and play for the Nets, but a lot remains to be seen about how much he will add to the team.
If things work out as planned, and Curry and Simmons bring to the table all that the Nets hoped for, a little time to build chemistry is all that is still needed to have an outstanding season, which is good news for Brooklyn Nets fans.
