Hibernia Bar wants everyone to be able to use hiberniabar.com (the “Site”) and find what they need, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We’re working toward that standard and review the Site as we make changes.
What we’ve done
- Text descriptions (alt text) on images
- A clear heading structure on every page
- A “skip to content” link and keyboard-friendly navigation
- Readable text sizes and strong color contrast
- Our address, phone number and opening hours written out as text, not only in images
Known limitations
Some content comes from other companies, such as the Google reviews widget and links to Google Maps and social media. We can’t fully control how accessible those services are. If something there doesn’t work for you, contact us and we’ll give you the information another way.
